A hop bomb without the booze. A beer that loves to please . Delivering flavour in abundance, but not too much to have a decent session. Grapefruit, fresh citrus and touch of forest pine. Bitter, but balanced.

Welcoming and moreish, with flavours of malt loaf and biscuit. A supporting streak of bitterness from the British hops and a whiff of floral lift. Friendly. Made by Laine Brew Co, it’s available across most Laine’s pubs.

Pils The Aeronaut

Pils The Aeronaut

Well, this is something a bit different for us. This is our 5.2% ABV interpretation of a classic Bavarian Pilsner. Using German Pilsner malt, a German strain of yeast and a big dose of Saaz hops from the Czech Republic this beer is crisp, clean and thirst quenching. The Saaz hops give the beer a great spicy, herbal aroma leading to a crisp malt and bitter finish.

IPA People's Park Tavern

IPA People’s Park Tavern

If for some strange reason you decided to stick to one beer for the rest of your life (maybe you lost a bet or something) you’d have to make it IPA, right? This 5% ABV American-hopped IPA uses Chinook, Columbus, Cluster and Galena hops, while the malt bill is Pearl pale ale, Vienna, Caramalt and malted wheat. We could drink it forever.

ESB Four Thieves

ESB Four Thieves

It’s not just special, it’s extra special. A combination of pale malt, cara malt, dark crystal malt and some amazing European hops gives this beer a big malty backbone with a juicy lemon and herbal aroma. We didn’t name this one lightly. Clocks in at 4.9% ABV.

Random Pale Ale The Aeronaut

Random Pale Ale The Aeronaut

As the name suggests it’s just the luck of the draw on what you get. Using an all pale malt base you could end up with a mellow British pale ale, a spicy European number or a punchy American hop bomb. We can guarantee it will be a great pint though, and weigh in at 4.7% ABV.

People's Pale Ale People's Park Tavern

People’s Pale Ale People’s Park Tavern

A good session pale ale is one of the most important beers on any bar. Crisp and light, PPA is a good at that gets, weighing in at 3.5% ABV.  All pale malt and some oats, with a dose of British cascade hops in the fermenter to help the easy-going beer quench the thirst of the people.

Old Timer People's Park Tavern

Old Timer People’s Park Tavern
4.7%
A blend of all British hops, the finest English pale malt and a classic British ale yeast. This isn’t a boring brown beer – EKG in the copper, and Bramling Cross in the FV, give this beer a long, lingering bitterness, marmalade on the nose and spicy blackberry notes on the tongue.

Espresso Stout The People's Park Tavern

Espresso Stout The People’s Park Tavern

When you’re making an ale with coffee in it it’s easy to sit back and let that strong flavour do all the hard work. But that would be a big mistake. Espresso Stout contains a mix of seven malts – Pearl, Oat Malt, Black, Chocolate, Carafa III, Wheat and Crystal. These are combined with 4kg of coarsely-ground Brazilian espresso coffee beans, lactose milk sugar and Simcoe and Cascade hops for a luxurious brew of 5% ABV.

Red Empire People's Park Tavern

Red Empire People’s Park Tavern

Red ale just looks good. Luckily Empire’s taste matches its visuals, and then some, and there’s a great aroma of citrus. Dark crystal malt gives this beer a sweet toffee taste to start with, and a spicy orange and citrus finish from American hops. At 5.2% it’s a full bodied red ale.
